A prototype of sorts with some bugs and poor optimization in some areas, but what do you expect when making a game in a week. Anyway this is my submission for the Brackey's Game Jam 2025.1). Hope you enjoy!

It was supposed to be a simple drop-off. One last delivery before the end of your shift. But when you arrive at PlayTeck Industries, something feels... off. The lobby is empty. The lights flicker. And waiting for you at the front desk is a single note:

"There is no delivery. You have been selected for product testing."

The doors lock behind you. The only way out is through.

Now, trapped inside the eerie halls of PlayTeck, you must navigate the depths of this sinister toy corporation where shadowy figures, and something far worse lurk in the dark. With every step you feel can feel the buildign pulling you further and you begin to question—are you the test subject, or the toy?

Features:

🕹 Retro Horror Aesthetic – Immerse yourself in a VHS-styled nightmare, inspired by the 16mm grainy style of 80s horror.
🚪 Explore a Twisted Toy Company– Unravel the dark secrets of PlayTeck Industries as you search for a way out.
🧩 Survive the Test – Solve puzzles, evade stalking horrors, and uncover the truth behind the company’s latest “product.”
🎵 Synthwave & Static – A chilling synth-driven soundtrack and analog horror effects heighten the tension.

You came to deliver a package. Now, you just need to deliver yourself from this nightmare.

Will you escape, or become part of the PlayTeck product line?

literally it is in two areas and I used the same assets over and over. It looks detailed because post processing but I didn’t even use scans or anything. The asset pack I used was pretty basic (wood and concrete). I wondered the same thing as this is my first ever game I’ve ever packaged with Unreal Engine. I even tested it on multiple machines to make sure everything was working correctly. Searched up on why file size is so small. But from what I’ve found it has to do with the amount of assets I used on top of how big the in game is. Is it showing any errors or anything? Because I need to figure out what is going on before deadline is over.

Sigh. It looks like the packaging is missing a lot of stuff. I’ve gotta try and figure that out within the hour. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

THIS GAME IS A VIRUS!

What do you mean is the game not working properly? I’ve tested it on multiple machines before submitting it. Not sure what you mean.
